The Cowboys opened the 2023 NFL season with a statement victory over the rival Giants, recording a 40-0 win in dominant fashion on the road. In the game, Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott was asked to do very little, as his team was up 16-0 in the first quarter thanks to special teams and defensive touchdowns.
On the opposite sideline, Daniel Jones found himself running into a stout Cowboys defense that left New York struggling to find answers all night. Jones completed 15 of 28 passes for just 104 yards with two interceptions.
Following the brutal result for the Giants, some fans were quick to clap back at a recent comment by former running back Tiki Barber, in which he boldly stated he’d pick Jones over Prescott “100 out of 100 times.”
“I’ll take Daniel Jones over Dak Prescott 100 out of 100 times, and I think most people would agree with me … Based on the projection of where both of these players are going,” Barber said last week on WFAN-AM in New York.

Not surprisingly, the online reactions were gold, and NFL fans unloaded on Barber for his take.
