Aaron Rodgers, certified “Swiftie”, arrived at the Taylor Swift concert at MetLife Stadium over the weekend and took it all in.
Rodgers sang and danced his way through the evening, clearly seeming to enjoy himself. Complete with the confetti falling as Swift performed, a cell phone video panned to the four-time MVP, who exclaimed “The Jets won the Super Bowl,” trying to speak another confetti-worthy moment into existence.
With the arrival of Rodgers in New York, the Jets now have Super Bowl expectations heading into next season and beyond with an elite quarterback in tow. That doesn’t mean that NFL fans didn’t have a field day mocking Rodgers and the Jets on social media as the confetti video began to make the rounds.
