Eagle-eyed shoppers have found "comfortable" sandals in Next that are almost identical to Dr Martens.
The chunky gladiator sandals from the high street store cost just £38 making them a more affordable copy of the £99 Blaire sandals, the Manchester Evening News reports.
Fashion lovers have shared the sandals on TikTok, with @kimberleyfletcher_ saying: “Run don’t walk to Next for these Doc Marten dupes. Only £38 and so comfy.” Kimberley added that she will “get so much wear out of these.”

The gladiator-style Blaire Hydro is said to be “ideal for stomping through summer and getting noticed. Combining a lightweight ripple sole with a durable Goodyear welt, the sandals have a slight wedge for height and a padded collar for comfort.”
Similarly, Next’s version of the open-toe sandal is described online as “cute and comfortable, this is a pairing that will work just as well with your mom jeans as with your favourite sundress. We love the feature buckle detail and chunky sole not to mention the comfy moulded footbed.”
However Next isn’t the only fashion retailer competing with the popular Dr Martens as Marks and Spencers has also released a similar style sandal. The M&S version is more lightweight than the famous footwear brand, however, they cost £45.
