Next manager exit odds: New favourite emerges amid Steve Cooper and Nottingham Forest ‘pressure’

Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper is third favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave his job following Saturday’s draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Forest took on their fellow relegation strugglers at the City Ground looking for a win to lift them away from the bottom three. And Brennan Johnson’s first-half goal seemed to have sealed the three points for the Reds, only for Daniel Podence’s 83rd minute equaliser to rob them of a crucial victory.

Ahead of the game against Wolves, reports emerged of increasing ‘pressure’ on Cooper, claiming the clash was ‘key’ to his future at the City Ground.

The draw against Wolves extends Forest’s winless run to seven league games. They are 14th in the table, two points off the relegation zone ahead of what could be a crucial clash against Leeds United at Elland Road on Tuesday night.

Leeds are one of the six clubs of the current nine to have made a managerial change this season. Javi Garcia replaced Jesse Marsch in the hot seat earlier this year.

But it’s the three managers who have not been changed who are now the bookmaker’s favourites to leave their clubs. Cooper is third favourite with SkyBet, his odds at 7/2.

Ahead of the Forest boss is West Ham manager David Moyes (11/4) and Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers (8/11). West Ham and Leicester sit in 19th and 18th place respectively.

Here is a look at all of the odds.

Brendan Rodgers 8/11

David Moyes 11/4

Steve Cooper 7/2

Graham Potter 4/1

No manager to leave 16/1

Julen Lopetegui 20/1

Jurgen Klopp 20/1

Cristian Stellini 25/1

Gary O’Neil 25/1

Ruben Selles 33/1
