Newcastle United are looking to make it eight games unbeaten as they face up to an Aston Villa side who parted company with Steven Gerrard last week.
Since Gerrard was sacked it has been 37-year-old Birmingham-born coach Aaron Danks who has been looking after things while Villa wait for Unai Emery's work permit. Danks guided Villa to a 4-0 win against Brentford last weekend and will be in charge for another game at St James' Park.
The Magpies won this fixture last season with Kieran Trippier scoring the winning goal.
Lee Ryder's prediction
You've got to be looking at a home win again haven't you? Newcastle are in superb form at the moment but seem to be taking it personally when teams try to tread on their toes and their defensive solidity is there for all to see!
Even after a great win for Villa, I think Newcastle will look to exploit a defence that has conceded 16 goals this season. I'll go for a 3-1 United win.
Referee
Paul Tierney (Lancashire)
His season started in explosive manner when he sent off Darwin Nunez for Liverpool against Palace. And he's been entrusted with some huge games including Man United vs Arsenal.
