Here is your latest Newcastle United 4am transfer digest.
Chelsea's Bruno interest
Bruno Guimaraes' future has been the inevitable subject of speculation following his sensational start to life in black-and-white. The Brazil international was eased into the side following his January move, but is now an indispensable player for Eddie Howe.
Real Madrid have been linked with the former Lyon playmaker, and the Newcastle boss issued an emphatic hands-off warning when asked about the midfielder's future this summer. Now, journalist Simon Phillips via Sports Mole claims Chelsea are now mulling over a January move for the 24-year-old.
The Blues are said to be keen on adding a midfielder to their squad, with Edson Alvarez, Moises Caicedo and Weston McKennie all said to be of interest. Guimaraes is contracted to the Magpies until the summer of 2026, and has repeatedly stressed he is currently living the dream at St James' Park.

Trossard price tag
Newcastle are the latest club to be linked with Brighton star Leandro Trossard following the attacker's impressive start to the season. The Belgian international has already netted six times in the Premier League this season, and Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and Chelsea are among those credited with an interest.
Trossard's current contract is set to expire at the end of the season, although the Seagulls do hold an option to extend this by a further year. However, this contract status could tempt Roberto De Zerbi's side to cash-in on the player in January.
The latest reports indicate a fee of £25 million could be enough to secure a January transfer. Eddie Howe was understood to be on the lookout for a right-sided forward in the summer, and Trossard could fit the bill should the Magpies revisit the market in little over two months' time.
