Newcastle United supporters have given Garang Kuol their full backing after signing for Hearts on loan until the end of the season. The 18-year-old has joined the Scottish Premiership side as part of Eddie Howe's plans to develop the promising young talent.
The Australian international made his official move to St. James' Park on January first, with the Newcastle head coach assessing Kuol before giving him the green light to go out on loan. Hearts boss Robbie Nielson has expressed his delight at securing the loan signing with a number of top European clubs fighting for his signature prior to joining the Magpies.
Kuol is awaiting international clearance before playing for the Jam Tarts but could be in line to feature against St. Mirren tomorrow. If not, the Edinburgh derby is just over a week away, in what could be a baptism of fire in Scottish football.
