Eddie Howe has been handed an injury boost ahead of Newcastle's clash with Leicester City. Joe Willock is once again available for selection after missing out the 1-0 win over Wolves with an illness.
The Magpies head coach knows a win against the Foxes would all but guarantee their Premier League survival, no side that has picked up 34 points after 31 games has been relegated to the Championship. It's been a remarkable turn around from Newcastle who made the worst start in the Premier League in their history.
A nine game unbeaten run propelled the Magpies towards safety, beginning with a 1-1 draw against Manchester United. The Toon were dealt a cruel blow as Callum Wilson limped out of the tie, but Howe has issued a positive update on the Newcastle striker.

Howe said Wilson was making good progress and back on shooting drills, albeit with no keeper and away from main group. Kieran Trippier is also back on the grass and getting closer but there's been no comeback date set.
Howe said: "Personally they (Trippier and Callum Wilson) are feeling OK because they are both in a good place and improving. They are in line with what we expected.
"Kieran I think is very slightly ahead of schedule. He is beginning to run on the grass again with his boots on. That is a great sign for us. He still has to now build up his fitness and everything that comes with that."
Ryan Fraser has had a scan and the Scotland international has 'a very small problem', but the winger is not yet ruled out of Sunday. Howe said at his Press conference: “I don’t think it’s too bad. But it was enough to bring him off, we had a scan and it showed a very small problem. So hopefully it won’t be too long for him and we will have to see whether he makes this game.”
