Martin Dubravka 8
Has watched a couple of Norwich efforts sail over his bar. Had to work for his clean sheet in the second half though with some fine saves.
Emil Krafth 8
Another solid display and gave Norwich no joy down his side of the street.
Dan Burn 8
So dependable in the air. Won every header and almost scored his first Toon goal.
Jamaal Lascelles 8
The skipper had no issues on his return. Stepped back in with no qualms and played well.
Matt Targett 8
A real presence on the left-hand side. Gave Norwich plenty of problems.
Bruno Guimaraes 10
Sparkling stuff with a great performance capped by a goal. Had a hand in the second important goal too. Top man once again.
Sean Longstaff 7
Understandably getting back into the swing of it. Done OK. Blazed one good effort over in the first half.
Joe Willock 7
Worked hard but looked fatigued by the end.
Joelinton 9
A brilliant afternoon for the Brazilian with two well-taken goals. One a cracking curling effort, the other a poacher's tap in. In the hunt for a hat-trick before Howe freshened things up.
Jacob Murphy 8
Grasped his opportunity with a hand in two goals.
Allan Saint-Maximin 8
Didn't give Norwich a moment's peace. Assist and could have had a goal or two.
