Newcastle United go into the clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers looking to protect an unbeaten home record in the Premier League.
You'd have to go as far back as the clash with Manchester City in mid-December for the last loss on Tyneside in the top-flight. And while Howe does not expect it to be a cake walk against Bruno Lage's European contenders, he feels the home crowd have another big role to play.
Speaking ahead of the Friday night fixture, Howe said: "It's massive for us to be back at home. It does feel like a long time and we've had a very intense period of away games.
