Police are advising motorists not attending a parade in a Co Down town this evening to avoid the area due to traffic disruption.
A band parade is planned to take place in Newcastle on Saturday evening, October 15 at 7.30pm and a number of roads will be impacted.
Police say they will facilitate motorists in the area as best they can but have urged people to avoid the area if they're not attending.

Posting on Twitter, a PSNI spokesperson wrote: "There is a band parade in Newcastle this evening starting at 7:30pm. Traffic disruption can be expected along the following: Bryansford Avenue, Bryansford Road, Central Promenade, Shimna Road.
"We will do our best to facilitate motorists but it'd be best to avoid the area."
According to the Parades Commission, the parade was organised by Star Of Down Flute Band, Maghera and will feature a number of local bands including Pride of the Maine Flute Band, Sons of Ulster Portrush, Fifes & Drums Donaghadee, Portadown Defenders Flute Band, South Down Defenders Flute Band and many others.
