Drinkers will be able to soak up the festive atmosphere of Newcastle's Christmas market inside a stunning new pop-up bar inspired by the alps.
The Moosenwirt Alpine Bar and village will open for the first time on Saturday, November 19, offering visitors the chance to enjoy drinks inside a fully heated yurt. The unique venue is located on Grey Street, right next to Grey's Monument, and will be serving up festive cheer until January 2.
The new bar is offering drinkers a selection of beers, mulled wine, and cider - as well as hot drinks - as they take shelter from the cold around the bar's fire pit. There will be daily live music from local artists each afternoon and evening during the festive period. Private groups will also be able to book a luxury igloo dome to enjoy drinks.
