New Zealand student visa approvals for Indians fall to 49.3% in 2026: INZ data

Indian students applying for New Zealand student visas from outside the country are facing a significantly lower approval rate than applicants from China, with only 49.3 per cent of Indian applications approved between January and September 13, 2026, according to Immigration New Zealand (INZ) data.
