New York’s Attorney General has sued the Trump administration over a controversial deal to terminate an offshore wind project.
The agreement, revealed in March, grants French company TotalEnergies $1 billion – essentially a refund for its offshore wind leases off New York and North Carolina – on the condition it invests the money in fossil fuel projects instead.
