The revamped Marks & Spencer at Liffey Valley has unveiled a feature which wine enthusiasts are sure to love.
The refurbished store, which opened yesterday, is bigger than ever with the Foodhall expanded by 25%. It also features a very useful "try before you buy" service which allows customers to taste any wine or coffee before they make a purchase.
Other features of the overhauled store include a check-out free shopping service - the first to be launched by a major realtor in Ireland. A bigger and better bakery serving fresh bread throughout the day is also included in the upgrade.

M&S Trading Director of Ireland Eddie Murphy said: “For the last few months we have been busy making our Liffey Valley store bigger, better and fresher and I’m extremely proud to finally unveil to our customers the finished result. Our customers across Ireland love M&S and the quality and provenance of products that we offer, we are very excited to continue to bring Irish sourced produce to our shelves.
"We’re also working closely with Bord Bia – The Irish Food Board - to become a verified retail member of the Origin Green programme and we are committed to a continued plan to source directly from more Origin Green verified Irish suppliers and Bord Bia Quality Approved farms.”
M&S food ambassador Irish TV Chef Mark Moriarty, and of course the iconic Percy Pig where on hand yesterday to cut the red ribbon. Customers who download the M&S app can "scan and shop" which enables you to pay as you go and avoid those busy Christmas queues.
Anyone who downloads the app will also be in with a chance of winning a weekly food shop for free, with promotions running across the app over the coming weeks.
M&S Liffey Valley will be open between the following times:
- Monday and Tuesday from 9am-8pm
- Wednesday to Friday 9am-9pm
- Saturday 9am-8pm
- Sunday 10am-7pm
