On New Year's Eve, amidst the usual revelry of the holiday season, New Orleans was bustling with activity. In addition to the Sugar Bowl drawing in fans, the city also hosted two major concerts to ring in the new year.

The electronic funk band STS9 took the stage at the Joy Theater, while bluegrass musician Billy Strings performed at the University of New Orleans Lakefront Arena. These musical events added to the vibrant atmosphere of the city as people gathered to celebrate.
