An adapted national anthem will be among the changes which follow the death of Her Majesty The Queen. As King Charles III ushered in a new era of monarchy with his first speech to the nation as head of state, there will be noticeable differences across wider society.
The changes include featuring the likeness of King Charles on cash notes and coins, as well as issuing new passports, the Mirror reports. The Queen reigned for more than 70 years and the majority of people have never known anyone else on the throne.
Since becoming monarch in 1952, her image has been part of everyday life - emblazoned across everything from cash to stamps. But following her passing aged 96, and the proclamation of a new King, the UK will see lots of changes, not least to everyday items.
