It's time to update our new movies guide for the final time in 2025. With the holiday season upon us, I'll be finishing work today (December 19) to enjoy some much-needed downtime after a busy year. In short: this is the last time I'll be giving this article an overhaul before 2026 arrives.
We're going out with a bang, though, because Avatar: Fire and Ash, arguably 2025's final big new film release, landed in theaters this weekend (December 19-21). There'll be other big-screen entertainment fare coming to a cinema near you in the days ahead, too, so read on to see what else will drop before next year is here. Happy Holidays, everyone!
