A pub with two function rooms for wedding receptions, birthday parties, baby showers and wakes needs a new landlord. Owners Star Pubs & Bars said "attitude is more valuable than experience" for whoever takes over The Longbow in Arnold.
As well as the function rooms, the pub, in Calverton Road, has an outdoor play area, outdoor patio seating and a car park with room for 60 vehicles, Star Pubs & Bars said the potential lies in making food 20 per cent of the offering.
"The Longbow is located just outside the busy and popular town of Arnold. The pub is surrounded by mixed housing. The pub benefits from being one of two pubs found in an area of around 3,600 adults. The diverse customer base is made up of families, retirees and younger couples and singles.
