A new gameplay deep dive trailer for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle showcases 15 minutes of in-game footage for the upcoming action adventure title.

The latest information dump shows eager fans what they can expect to see when the game comes out in full. It features a lot of cryptic puzzles that you need to solve inside ancient ruins as well as combat with a whip.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Trailer

The video was shared by developer MachineGames and publisher Bethesda Softworks. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is set to arrive on Dec 9, 2024, for PC and Xbox Series X/S and in spring 2025 for PlayStation 5, according to Gematsu.

Exploration seems to be the focus of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle but the new gameplay deep dive trailer shows a variety of combat as well. There is hand-to-hand brawling that feels similar to boxing.

You can also mix this combat type with using your whip to pull your enemies closer to you. The game also has a lot of other exciting details, such as an adventure journal and an old-school camera that you can use to take photos and provide hints for puzzles.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is most probably the biggest release of the year for Xbox consoles. It follows other notable titles such as Hellblade II, Starfield's Shattered Space Expansion, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, The Verge said.

The game takes players back to 1937 so they can experience plundering tombs, punching Nazis in the face, and sometimes making jokes despite facing life-threatening dangers. The latest trailer looks to cover almost everything the upcoming title has to offer.

Showcasing Gameplay and Mechanics

This includes various mechanics such as stealth, fisticuffs, and occasional gunfire, as well as showcasing exotic locales and supporting characters. The latter are particularly important as they will help our titular protagonist during his adventures.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle would most likely feel very familiar to fans of the franchise with how it delivers its gameplay. MachineGames does an excellent job of retaining what made the series so popular among players.

Players who were able to dive into the game in early hands-on previews said that the latest game in the franchise wonderfully recreates the look and sound of the films. The game's environments are beautiful and appear to have been well-researched.

This is seen in some specific places from the films being imitated into the game, such as Marshall College and other real historical sites. Indiana Jones voice actor Troy Baker brought the character to life, according to PCGamer.
