New images of the Sussexes at an Independence Day parade have shown up key differences between the Sussexes and the Cambridges, an expert claims.
The pictures, which emerged on Facebook, show Meghan Markle kneeling down to her son Archie's height in a more candid shot.
The couple had previously released a Christmas card image in a similarly candid and organic style, which gave a more natural image of them as a family.
Meanwhile, royal expert Daniela Elser said William and Kate have been very different in their approach to images of children Charlotte, George, and Louis.
In contrast to the Sussexes, images of the three Cambridge children are rarely released outside of scheduled royal events.
These also include carefully curated photos released from private family events, and indicates an extremely careful approach to how the young royals are presented.
Ms Elser said that the pictures themselves were unremarkable - but do highlight a significant contrast.
She wrote in the New Zealand Herald: “The shots in and of themselves are not that remarkable – a very cute little boy sucking a lollipop while watching a parade, Meghan casually but chicly dressed and Harry doing his usual impression of a hirsute thundercloud.
“But it's the fact that the shots themselves were even taken that is significant here.
“Ask yourself this: Have you ever seen similar images crop up of William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's children?”
Kate had previously released images of her middle child's birthday, showing Princess Charlotte grinning at the camera in a field of flowers.
Shortly afterwards, Meghan and Harry released a portrait of their youngest child Lilibet over the Jubilee Bank Holiday.
The image showed the youngest Sussex sat on a patch of grass in a blue dress, smiling past the camera.
The picture was captured by photographer and family friend Misan Harriman.
