Certain grocery stores are offering discounts for new customers.

Martin Lewis' latest Money Saving Expert newsletter shared the helpful tip and full details for how to get the savings from retailers such as Iceland, Sainsbury's, Amazon and Ocado. Delivery services are offering new customers up to 40% or £20 off their food shop.

The MSE newsletter said that big supermarkets, where you have to book a slot in advance, and quick delivery services that can deliver to your door in minutes both offer their own deals and discounts. They explained that groceries via the quickies usually cost a little more as you're paying extra for the convenience, but using an introductory offer should easily overcome the additional cost of the items, and delivery.
