The summer transfer window hasn't yet opened and Tottenham have already started completing business. On Tuesday, the club announced the signing of Ivan Perisic on a free transfer and a two-year deal, with the Croatian's contract at Inter Milan coming to an end this summer.
A deal for Fraser Forster, as backup to Hugo Lloris also seems close, with the current Southampton keeper's contract also up this summer. There have been various other links to players who may make the move to N17 in the next few months.
Antonio Conte needs players to increase the size of his squad and improve on the quality in some areas. This will also require some outgoings, to players who either want to leave to get regular game time, or won't fit in the Italian's system once new players have arrived.

There is a lot that could bring success and failure to north London over the next few months and football.london takes a look at the best and worst case scenarios for Tottenham, ahead of the transfer window.
Best case scenario
You could argue that there will never be a perfect transfer window, because managers will always want more. However it could be a very successful one for Spurs, if they have started how they mean to go on.
Starting with the squad that Conte currently has, keeping key players will be vital to build a strong team around. In an ideal world, Harry Kane would sign a new contract and football.london reported earlier this week that if the Lilywhites continue to show ambition and back the Italian this summer, the England captain could be open to talks about a new deal.
The 52-year-old wants at least six new signings this summer and Tottenham are already off to a good start, with the signing of Perisic. Alessandro Bastoni is another player who has been heavily linked with a move to north London.
football.london also reported this week that the deal isn't as straightforward as many would hope. It is understood that the Italian is keen to play under Conte again but is also happy at Inter Milan. The 23-year-old would provide competition and quality on the left of the back three and could definitely be a good addition to the Spurs squad.
The Lilywhites also need another right wing-back, an attacking midfielder and another striker. Djed Spence is one youngster who has been on Tottenham's radar.
The youngster has spent a season on loan at Nottingham Forest and a move may now be made more difficult, with Forest being promoted to the Premier League. The likes of Youri Tielemans and Christian Eriksen have both been linked with moves to N17, with the latter already admitting he would love to play in the Champions League again.
Frontmen Gabriel Jesus and Richarlison have both been linked and the latter could be a good option of a versatile player, who could act as Kane's backup, or play alongside him. The summer window hasn't officially opened yet, so there are set to be plenty more rumours and links, before signings are confirmed.
ENIC has provided a £150million investment into Spurs, with the bulk of that expected to go to backing Conte this summer. If Fabio Paratici can work to get players in the positions that the Italian wants and needs to fill and the 52-year-old is fully backed, it could be a very successful summer in N17.
The most important thing is not to spend money on big name players, but spend the required money on the right players and those who will add the quality needed for Tottenham.
Worst case scenario
Hopefully the negative side of the window won't need to be looked at in a few months and everything would have gone to plan. However, it wouldn't be unheard of for Spurs not to have got everything they want from a transfer window.
A real worst case scenario would be if one or more of Conte's key players left this summer, however that doesn't look likely anymore. Despite this, a lack of outgoings could still make the transfer window less successful.
There are players in the squad who aren't getting regular game time and clearly aren't at the top of the Italian's pecking order. Therefore, for their own career, either a loan or permanent move is likely to be the most beneficial option for both parties.
This includes the likes of Tanguy Ndombele, who will be returning from his loan at Lyon, Harry Winks and Joe Rodon, who have both struggled with lack of game time under Conte. There are a number of other players who will find themselves in the same position next season, especially with new arrivals and if Tottenham can't move these members of the squad on, the window won't have been as effective as it could and should have been.
In the January window, Spurs welcomed former Juventus duo Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur to the club, who both made an immediate impact. However during the winter window, the Lilywhites were also on the hunt for a right wing-back, with neither Matt Doherty of Emerson Royal making the required impact.
After the failed pursuit of Adama Traore, Conte didn't get the wing-back he needed. Although Royal and Doherty did improve in the second half of the season, before the Irishman's injury, this is another position that could still do with an upgrade, especially if the Brazilian departs.
Therefore arguably the most vital aspect of this transfer window is to back the Italian. With the money that ENIC has invested and the money that could be raised from outgoings, there shouldn't be an issue with having the money to buy players.
This means that a worst case scenario for Tottenham's transfer window would be not backing the manager and not providing him with the players he needs. This will be to add extra quality to the team but also include solving the squad depth issue, even more vital with the five substitution rule next season.
There is a long way to go before the season starts and deadline day approaches and all Tottenham fans will be hoping for is a successful transfer window, to put the club in a good position for a strong season.
