New Green MP Hannah Spencer slams ‘misinformation’ about her ahead of Gorton and Denton by-election victory

New Green Party MP Hannah Spencer said she had “targeted misinformation” directed at her in the build-up to the by-election in Gorton and Denton.

Following the election results on Friday, 27 February, the Greens received 14,980 votes, while Reform UK candidate Matt Goodwin came second with 10,578, ousting Labour from a formerly safe seat.
