Incredible drone footage released by a homebuilder shows the progress of a new housing development in the Creggan estate area of Derry.
The project, worth £15m, is expected to be completed by Winter 2023. Radius Housing has released a site tour video of its new Derry development so potential buyers can see what it has to offer.
In partnership with Sean Dolan’s GAC, the housing association successfully submitted the planning application for a significant regeneration project in the Creggan area of the city in 2021.

The proposed project aims to deliver over 100 new social and affordable homes, alongside extension and refurbishment of the existing club house facilities and provision of a new multi-use community building centre.
The ambitious development proposals will transform the lands to the west of the current Sean Dolan GAC grounds at Bligh’s Lane. The video of the new development gives viewers an insight into how the development is progressing, the layout of the homes and what the location and properties have to offer.
A Sean Dolan's spokesperson said: "A significant step forward has been achieved in our goal to deliver on Phase 2 of our Development Plan for additional facilities with the granting of planning permission.
"We have been working in partnership with Radius Housing to deliver a scheme which will invest over £16,000,000 into the local Creggan community and whilst there is still work to be done to realise our vision, we are confident that the will is out there to ensure that this significant investment is delivered upon.
"It is important to remember that not that many years ago Dolans was on its knees after an arson attack on our club facilities. Indeed, many people within the GAA were questioning the very future of the club.
"However, with the determination of club members, the club was able to deliver a fit-for-purpose set of changing facilities as well as one of the best pitches in the Derry County Board area."
