A new book club in Derry is inviting people to join and tackle their battle with alcohol abuse and addiction.
The Serenity Book Club has been created with the intention of providing support, knowledge and connection to anyone impacted by alcohol - according to it's creator Joanne Nash.
Joanne told MyDerry that the book club has already been fully booked for their Tuesday session, but session a few places remain for their Sunday session - starting March 13th.

The club will run for four weeks meeting at Soul Cottage.
Speaking to MyDerry, Joanne said the book club was created with the intention of providing support, knowledge and connection to anyone impacted by alcohol.
She added: "Whether you on your own journey, wanting to lead a healthier lifestyle or supporting others, this book club is a safe, confidential and supportive space to explore and gain an understanding of the alcohol-free journey.
"Within The Serenity Book Club, the focus will be on books which will educate, inspire, empower and provide support for anyone who has been impacted by alcohol.
"Reading ‘quit lit’ has been a big part of my toolkit in terms of changing my mindset towards alcohol so I’d love to share this experience with others in the hope it does the same for them."
