Another cordon had been set up in Nottingham as police investigate three deaths in the city centre. Close to where police officers had set up an initial cordon on Ilkeston Road, Radford, another was set up at 12.30pm.
According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, a section of the street is closed in both directions between Faraday Road and Middleton Street. Armed police officers are at the scene near Radford Recreation Ground, just north of the Middleton Street junction, off Lenton Boulevard, as well as a number of police vehicles. Buses have been stopped by the new cordon and are parked up, according to our reporter at the scene.
Video taken from Ilkeston Road shows an armed convoy driving away from the scene as police officers lift up the cordon to allow them to drive through. A cordon is also in place at the junction of Ilkeston Road and Lenton Boulevard.
