A new vacuum cleaner is said to be so powerful that it will be able to pick up virus particles around the home.
The cordless vacuum cleaner is called Gen5detect and has been designed by British firm Dyson. While it is yet to be released, it is expected to be the company's most powerful cordless vacuum ever and has been engineered to capture 99.99 percent of particles.
The device includes filtration technology that fully seals the machine to keep in any captured particles, Dyson said. The company’s own research has found that 95 percent of people say they are cleaning their homes just as much, if not more, as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
