New club revealed as NPLW expands, premier youth competitions also grow

Entry into Northern NSW Football's premier women's competition next year is the "last piece of the puzzle" for Kahibah Football Club.

Northern NSW Football has confirmed National Premier Leagues Women (NPLW) will return to eight clubs in 2027 with the addition of Kahibah.

New Lambton and Maitland (main picture) are in a two-horse race for the NPLW NNSW premiership. Kahibah Football Club will join NPLW next year and South Maitland Football Club will be one of two new clubs in Premier Youth League Girls. Picture by Simon McCarthy
