CBS Studios and the BBC's period drama series King & Conqueror has unveiled new cast members as it commences production in Iceland. The show's official plot synopsis describes it as a tale of a pivotal clash that shaped the future of a nation and a continent over a millennium. The narrative delves into the intertwined family legacies of Harold of Wessex and William of Normandy, who, despite lacking ambitions for the British throne, are thrust into a fierce battle for its crown at the Battle of Hastings in 1066.
The latest additions to the cast include Luther Ford from 'The Crown' and Joseph Mawle from 'Game of Thrones.' Ford will portray Tostig, the youngest son of the Godwin family, while Mawle takes on the role of Fitzosbern, William's loyal protector and confidant.
