New bus route will take you from Kirkby to Rhyl and everywhere in-between

A new bus route that will take you from Kirkby to Pensarn, Wales, via the popular seaside resort Rhyl and every notable location in between will be running during the height of the summer.

The Stagecoach X10 summer service bus route is returning once again and those looking to get away will be able to travel as far as Pensarn from Kirkby without any changes. The new service will arrive on Saturday, June 25 and run on weekends and bank holidays.

The service will stop at Kirkby, Bootle, Liverpool, Birkenhead, Eastham, Flint, Talacre, Prestatyn, Rhyl, Towyn and Pensarn. It will connect those living in Merseyside to countless beaches along the coast of Northern Wales and it is a perfect opportunity to take an easy weekend away, or simply a quick trip out of the city to the beach.

1 day explorer tickets are £12 for an adult, £9 for a child, and £34.50 for a group. Three-day tickets will also be available, at a higher price.

The service will end on Monday, August 29. However next year and the years after, Stagecoach said they will be beginning the service earlier, on June 2.

English National Concessionary passes will not be valid along the route. To find out more and see the full route, visit Merseytravel's website here.
