Netherlands to help boost Kerala’s higher education sector

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Netherlands will support the state’s efforts in creating centres of excellence in the higher education sector, ambassador of the Netherlands to India Marten Van den Berg assured chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan in the meeting with him here on Tuesday.

The ambassador accepted the CM’s request to bring more Dutch investment to the state. The chief minister also invited tourists from the Netherlands to the state. The chief minister said that the suggestions and help from Netherlands after the floods of 2018 has been of great help to the state, and the concept of ‘room for the river’ has helped make the state make great progress in its efforts to control the flood situation in Kuttanad.
