Netherlands, Spain and Ireland among countries set to boycott Eurovision after Israel allowed to compete

The Netherlands, Ireland, Spain, and Slovenia say they will boycott next year’s Eurovision Song Contest after it was decided Israel could compete.

They were among several countries calling for Israel to be barred from participating in the 2026 competition over the humanitarian toll of the war in Gaza and accusations of unfair voting practices.
