Netflix customers are being warned the streaming giant will begin its crackdown on password sharing within the next few months. The streaming giant has updated its users on when it will introduce its new policy to make it more difficult for people to share their passwords.
The tighter restrictions will be introduced in the US first, then other countries during the same quarter of the financial year.
In a statement, Netflix said: "We learn more with each rollout and we've incorporated the latest learnings, which we think will lead to even better results. To implement these changes, we shifted out the timing of the broad launch from late Q1 to Q2.
