Netflix's real life Squid Game show is looking for UK contestants with £3.8m prize

Many people were gripped by the Netflix drama Squid Game. Now there's a chance to take part in the real life version - with a chance to win a huge £3.8million.

Netflix is looking for UK applicants to take part in the show. A total of 456 contestants will battle it out in a series of elimination games. And, unlike the fictional version, TV production company Studio Lambert has promised that all players “will leave unscathed”...

To apply to take part you need to be aged over 21. Applications can be made via SquidGameCasting.com, reports BirminghamLive.

Brandon Riegg, Netflix VP of Unscripted and Documentary Series, said: "Squid Game took the world by storm with Director Hwang’s captivating story and iconic imagery. We’re grateful for his support as we turn the fictional world into reality in this massive competition and social experiment.

"Fans of the drama series are in for a fascinating and unpredictable journey as our 456 real world contestants navigate the biggest competition series ever, full of tension and twists, with the biggest ever cash prize at the end."

Squid Game: The Challenge will be a 10-episode competition series and will be filmed in the UK. The smash hit original series became one of Netflix's most successful ever last year and was watched by millions after its release.
