Netflix’s Hot Sports Documentary Biz Targets ‘Receiver’

After the successful debut of sports documentary series Quarterback last July, Netflix has once again targeted the trio of Peyton Manning's Omaha Productions, NFL Films and Patrick Mahomes’s 2PM Productions for a new series focused on NFL wide receivers. 

As it turns out, the production companies followed five lauded pass catchers throughout the 2023 NFL season — Davante Adams, Justin Jefferson, George Kittle, Deebo Samuel and Amon-Ra St. Brown — for a new eight-part docuseries that will debut this coming summer.
