It was more of a groundbreaker than anybody could have imagined. Beasts Of No Nation premiered at the Venice Film Festival in 2015 before a limited cinema release, but this was no ordinary launch. It was Netflix's first in-house film, kicking off the production side of the business and setting in motion a continuing change in the movie landscape.
It's also regarded as one of the streamer's best originals and it's available to watch now on Netflix in both the US and UK (check out our best movies on Netflix guide for more films to enjoy).
