The nephew of a pensioner whose body he carried along with another man to collect his pension attended the wake last night.
The funeral of 66-year-old Peadar Doyle will take place this morning in Carlow after mourners paid tribute to the “gentleman” at a funeral home yesterday.
Locals will rally around Peadar's heartbroken sister and his extended family to comfort them following his sudden death, Carlow’s Mayor insisted yesterday.
