Nepal battered by severe rain: 21 dead, 5 missing as floods, landslides worsen

At least 21 people have died, five are missing and five others have been injured across Nepal after four days of torrential rain triggered floods and landslides in several parts of the country, authorities said on Sunday. The severe weather from September 24 to 27 also forced the evacuation of around 3,000 people and damaged or destroyed hundreds of homes.
