Neil Lennon is reportedly set to hold talks with Greek giants Olympiacos over their vacant managerial post.
The former Hibernian and Celtic manager is keen to get back into the dugout after he was sacked by Cypriot side Omonia Nicosia back in October last year. The Greek Super League club are on the look out for a new boss after Michel left the club last month. They are currently being managed by Sporting Director Jose Anigo. The Edinburgh Evening News is reporting the Northern Irishman is expected to speak to the hierarchy at the club in the next 72 hours over a potential move.
Olympiacos are currently in third place in the league three points ahead of PAOK and seven behind second-placed Panathinaikos. A third-placed finish in the league would mean Europa Conference League qualifying rounds next season. During his time in Cyprus Lennon won the Cypriot Cup in 2022 when his side defeated Ethnikos Achna in the final.
Lennon was also able to secure European football for Omonia when they qualified for the Europa League after defeating Gent 4-0 on aggregate. They failed to win a game in the Europa League after coming up against Man United, Real Sociedad and Sheriff Tiraspol.
