After 37 years Neighbours is bidding its final goodbye this week and many of its well known former stars are returning to Ramsey Street before the credits roll for one last time.
As soon as it launched in 1987, Neighbours captured the hearts of audiences in the UK, even more so than in the show's native Australia to begin with, as British viewers became invested in the goings on involving iconic Erinsborough families like The Ramsays, Robinsons and Mangles.
Big storylines over the years include Scott and Charlene's world famous wedding, Madge being devastated by Harold going missing, before he returned as Ted with no memory of what happened to him; the deaths of much loved characters like Todd, Helen and Jim and the plane crash tragedy that killed a number of notable Ramsay Street residents.

Big names who've appeared on Neighbours over the years include Scott and Charlene themselves Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan, Torn singer Natalie Imbruglia, Holly Valance who went onto land a number 1 with Kiss; Hollywood actors Guy Pearce and Margot Robbie and singer Delta Goodrem, whose character Nina Tucker launched a music career on the show.
The final episode of Neighbours will air in Australia on Thursday and then in the UK on Friday, with Channel 5 having a special Neighbours Night to bid it farewell.
