Neighbours star Alan Fletcher has confirmed to his fans that he has been diagnosed with hair loss disorder Alopecia Areata.

The 65-year-old actor, who is best-known for playing Karl Kennedy in the popular Australian soap, sparked 'concern' recently due to his new bald look.

Taking to Instagram on Friday, Alan shared a selfie with his 70.2k followers and also gave an explanation regarding his lack of hair as he grinned for the camera.
