Nearly half of Brits (46 per cent) are planning to treat themselves to a solo holiday this year – with Tenerife topping the list of destinations.
Whether it's a beach break, a city adventure, or a trip around the world, more people than ever are finding the confidence to spend time with themselves, rather than travelling with a companion.
In fact, the research, by easyJet Holidays, found that there has been an 83 per cent surge in demand for solo trips on Valentine's Day since last year – showing that being single on February 14 doesn't have to be depressing.
