Victor Wembanyama is receiving a warm welcome to the city of San Antonio. Just a couple of days after being drafted into the organization, some Spurs legends took the 19-year-old out for dinner.
Among those at the dinner included iconic franchise stars such as David Robinson, Tim Duncan, Sean Elliott, and Manu Ginobili. A photo of the group has since gone viral, as it depicts Wembanyama towering over his cohorts, including the 7'1" Robinson.
The NBA world was in awe over the height disparity between the 2023 NBA draft’s No. 1 pick and the rest of the group, as the top of Robinson’s head barely reached Wembanyama’s nose. NBA fans and media took to Twitter with a plethora of reactions to the now-viral image.

Wembanyama is listed at 7'4", though this photo will surely have fans questioning whether or not he’s even taller than that. Either way, the French phenom looks ready to fill some big shoes in San Antonio.
