After three consecutive losses to open the Golden State Warriors’ six-game road swing, Jordan Poole came to the rescue in Toronto. Poole helped solve Golden State’s struggles on the road with a career-high performance against the Toronto Raptors.
The 23-year-old guard helped fuel Golden State’s victory on the road to snap their losing streak with 43 points on 14-of-23 shooting from the field with five made triples to go along with six assists and a steal and an assist in 35 minutes. Poole’s performance against the Raptors was good enough for a new career-high in scoring. Poole’s previous career-high was 38 points.
In addition to Poole’s career-high, Draymond Green returned to the lineup in impressive fashion. Green tallied 17 points on 7-of-15 shooting from the field with three made triples, nine rebounds and five assists in 37 minutes.
Kevon Looney added a double-double with 11 points and 11 boards as the Warriors’ notched their third road win of the season on Sunday in Toronto, 126-110.

Kevon Looney has been emerging as the soul of this team. There’s better players but when I hear him at the podium, his wisdom & spirit is so uplifting. He’s the ultimate glue guy on/off court & I just really appreciate his perspective on GSW Hoops. Refreshing
