NAGPUR: Here is some happy news for the Indian hoopsters. The National Basketball Association (NBA), the organisers of the world's best basketball league in America, will soon join hands with the Basketball Federation of India (BFI). The development will see basketball undergo a major facelift to match world standards.
During the two preseason games at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi earlier this month, NBA's deputy commissioner Mark Tatum and BFI's youngest president Aadhav Arjuna held discussions about working jointly for the growth of basketball in India.
