NBA institutes new player participation policy for 2023-24 forward

The NBA‘s board of governors has approved a new “player participation policy”, set to be effective from the start of the 2023-24 regular season onwards per a release from the league. This policy aims to increase player participation in the NBA’s regular season and will replace the previous player resting policy, which was put in place before the 2017-18 season.
