Royal Navy forces have tracked a group of Russian warships through UK waters during an "intense" 72-hour operation.
The task force was shadowed from the North Sea through the English Channel by Type 45 destroyer HMS Duncan, Type 23 frigate HMS St Albans and patrol vessel HMS Severn.
