Vicky McClure dazzled in a metallic dress at the National Television Awards Thursday night (Oct 13) as her show Trigger Point won the gong for Best New Drama. The Nottinghamshire actress graced the red carpet for the star-studded event at The OVO Arena in Wembley, London, in a gorgeous gold Georgia Hardinge gown.
She looked stunning on stage in the waist-hugging, sparkling dress, which was paired with strappy heels, as she accepted the award alongside co-star Eric Shango. Trigger Point beat Heartstopper, This Is Going To Hurt and Time to the Best New Drama award.
Vicky thanked executive producer Jed Mercurio and the show's directors among others. The 39-year-old also used the speech to encourage viewers to download the song What's Your Story by Our Dementia Choir, which was formed in Nottingham and features in a documentary on BBC One.
