The UK’s National Security Advisor has warned there are risks of a nuclear war between the West and China in the future.
Both have been warned about the risks of 'miscalculating' their way into an ‘accidental nuclear conflict’ as the UK's National Security Adviser Sir Stephen Lovegrove spelled out exactly what could happen.
Speaking in Washington DC, he warned of the “pace and scale with which China is expanding its nuclear and conventional arsenals”, and said the world is entering a “dangerous new age of proliferation”. This comes as Foreign Secretary Liz Truss also warns of the “growing malign influence from Beijing.
